Yes, Gary, buying a stock because you expect a buyout is a good way to drive yourself crazy.

The reason is that you can't falsify your thesis. If a buyout doesn't happen Monday, it may happen Tuesday.

I spend most of my investment research trying to show I'm wrong (something that some others here and on Twitter might try).
