In recent years, with the continuous research work in machine learning, computer vision, and computer graphics, it has been recognized that gesture is an essential way of communication between humans and computers and plays a vital role in human-computer interaction. With the rapid development of mobile Internet and Internet of Things technology, gesture recognition and tracking have become essential for the new generation of human-computer interaction.

It is understood that WiMi Hologram Cloud, Inc. (NASDAQ:WIMI) is working on a 3D gesture tracking algorithm. This is a method of tracking the user’s gestures by capturing the position of the target gesture and transforming its motion trajectory into consecutive points in the video frame, intending to parse human gestures through mathematical algorithms. The 3D gesture tracking algorithm is a fundamental research direction in computer vision. The algorithm tracks user gestures (3D gestures) through user gestures, camera pose, and camera position information, which somewhat solves the gesture tracking problem in video streams.

As mobile devices become portable, more and more sensors are installed in mobile terminals, making it possible for smartphones, tablets, and other mobile devices to obtain information about users’ hand movements in real-time.
