Yes, that was the reported reason, of too much crime in Chicago.

Lately I’m wondering if it has anything to do with blue state red state differences that might come in handy in a tight spot.

Seems like a few shady dealing characters have been attracted to Florida (and a whole lot of innocent law abiding folks too.)
