Hi blackhawks, thanks for posting that. I didnt know the muzzle speed of an ar-15 was twice the speed of a typical semi-automatic handgun.
In regards to a "well regulated militia", so much bad sentence parsing by progressives has been associated with that 2nd amendment sentence. Basically the sentence phrase is irrelevant. Look at this sentence and see for yourself.
"In order to stay dry, everyone should have the right to own an umbrella."
As you can see, "in order to stay dry" is a reason for owning an umbrella, not a prerequisite.
By the way, if you search this board you will see that I've suggested several times that raising the age of maturity for buying, owning, having, and operating a semi-automatic or automatic weapon should be 25 if not higher. This would eliminate a high percentage of gun injuries and fatalities without violating the 2nd amendment.
