Stupp is old guard, but wow is the landscape changing in medicine.

For example....my old ortho surgeon told me STEM cell/PRP injections wouldn't work on my shoulder torn labrum and rotor cuff...my new surgeon, about 20 years younger and much more open minding and trained/schooled in the new guard of Ortho Surgery, said it would. I dished out the cash myself and had it done. 1 year later my shoulder is as good as new and hasn't felt this good since I was 18. Its battle tested" This past year was the first year I haven't been in pain while fighting fires and working out. About 150 workouts and 40 something fires later. If you have a old Doctor, even a PCP, who is old, replace him/her with someone younger. Its a night and day difference in the care you will receive.

Time are changing, both in how Othro Surgeons think/work and how the FDA will look at ECA's in some of the deadly diseases. With much smaller powered trials too.
