Media Reports are to be taken with a grain of salt. I can't believe anyone could be that gullible to believe whatever media reports throw at them.
There is no manipulation. I explained it logically on another post.
Those who subscribe to thinking there is can show no evidence. Belief w/o facts!!
I trust you realize the illegality of it and the risks for example Blackrock or any institution would undertake in manipulating a stock. If it were so apparent, it would have been uncovered, be reported, fined heavily, lose there investors and scrutinized going forward.
The "manipulation" farse always pops up when a stock slides. The holders find a reason for it other than fundamentals or technicals. It's an excuse along with several others they offer.
If a stock's price and direction were a function of "manipulation" then Buyers or Sellers would be left guessing what the next momentary px change is......... and not based upon fundamentals or technicals. That's not investing.
