Fuzzy - I agree that it might be decades before the infrastructure for widespread motor vehicles is in place.

As for the other items on your list, I think economics will be an important factor.

As we have seen with GSE's and back up generators, there are other less expensive and more convenient alternatives to hydrogen and fuel cells.

Hydrogen will no doubt be in the energy mix, but I am still waiting to see the comparative economics for green hydrogen.
