>Did HealthNet cause infringement by approving Generic V for patients with TGs of 150 mg/dl? Evidence seems to point in that direction.
>Did HealthNet in collusion with Hikma cause a loss of revenue to Amarin when it approved the use of Generic V for patients with TGs of 150 mg/dl? Even though Hikma was excused from the complaint? There's the $64 question.
>What is the monetary extent of damages caused by HealthNet? A definite bargaining chip in any settlement agreement.
>What are the insurance company (industry) ramifications?
We're all waiting breathlessly for the news. I apologize for being late to the party and the ensuing discussions. I do understand the need for generics to provide clarification of what "equivalent" means, they're not obligated to do so until someone makes them.
