If I were a betting man, I would put money down on the side that LP will not want to settle. My read is that this entire situation with the manipulation has become "very personal" to her and the justice is worth more than the money (assuming the company will have JVs or buyout buy then). In this scenario the law firm would have a blueprint to use for other manipulated stocks as well.
