These so called doctors are probably hired "flunkies", hired by the short sellers that are desperate to try to derail the inevitable MHRA approvals that are imminent, in a last dying attempt to further manipulate the Northwest SP. PEOPLE !!! It is not a coincidence that this article came out in the UK, where the entire world knows that Northwest Bio is applying for manufacturing approvals, marketing approvals and approval for Flaskworks!!!
The thing that strikes me as somewhat comical is the naivete' of these doctors and their financiers that must believe that their opinions really have an effect on THE APPROVAL PROCESS !!!"Come on, Man!!!" The RA's of the world have at their side, the world's greatest medical authority on the planet, the JOURNAL OF THE AMERICAN MEDICAL ASSOCIATION. Further, and this is what is really shocking to the credibility of these 9 doctors and that is these 9 doctors must believe that before JAMA published the article, the entire team of experts hadn't considered ,"IN DEPTH", the comments/questions they are making/asking and determined that they were not only answered , but confirmed that they had no adverse effect on the statistically significant and meaningfully overall, positive results of the Phase 3 trial for DCVax-L and how that effects the worldwide RA approval process!!
One thing's for sure and is an absolute fact and that is, nowhere in the credentials of the 9 doctors is it reflected that they work with Dr. Ashkan and his team at Kings College or were part of the expert team of 50 doctors that rigorously, peer reviewed the Phase 3 trial for the Journal of the American Medical Association ( JAMA) or were part of the 70 lead investigators/expert doctors for the trial or in any way part of any organization or association that would lend credibility or standing to any of the statements they are making!!! AND further, were unfamiliar with the trial results until they read the JAMA article and were provided an analysis of the article by a journalist!!
The most important fact that is "front page, above the fold" for the world's patient population and the healthcare world and to the world as a whole is that DCVax-L immunotherapy vaccine IS THE FIRST TREATMENT FOR nGBM and rGBM IN OVER 30 YEARS THAT HAS IMPROVED OVERALL SURVIVAL AND VASTLY EXTENDS LIFE EXPECTANCY By all measures that is proven by the medical community and that is what counts, not a few comments from 9 unknown doctors trying to split hairs on obscure and irrelevant parts of the trial process!!
As a final "PROOF OF CONCEPT", I refer you to the JAMA publication and specifically, the 18 minute interview with Dr. Linda Liau located on the top of the page at the media button.
And finally, I've tried to resist from making this comment, because it might be interpreted as I'm giving way to emotionalism, but here it is:
" Why would anyone believe anything that the world of money grubbing traders have to say about any medical treatment for deadly diseases that is offered with the ultimate goal of providing PROMISE and HOPE in the efforts to save lives"????? AND instead, believe those traders whose intent is to delay and deny the desperately needed patient treatments, for the sake of money!!
Let's hope that our world is not so deep into political and financial considerations, that we have lost touch with the needs of patients!!!
