Your premise is false. The media has covered different treatments. I have commented before asking how many potential investors, potential partners, media, journalists, interns ran away after seeing that forum. It reeks unprofessionalism and causing potential loss of opportunities due to certain politics.
I have pointed out that Tim and his useless forum need to have rules and policies that any sane business would enforce, otherwise it is not a good business decision to operate one. You are blaming the media but I blame the CEO! I agree we are living in very strange times, but is it really wise to put extra obstacles to achieve goals? There are certain things you do and say in public, and other things you keep private.
He wants to write about the science and interact with people? Do what a normal business would do and start a BLOG allowing comments that can be moderated. Write and explain all the science, that will hopefully get the attention of media, scientists and businesses to open doors and make deals happen. Write interesting content and people will share it and link it elsewhere to get GOOD attention and people interested.
What is that Meat Lovers Channel, 11 pages long with almost 200 posts, going to do for us? The give-away's are also hilarious. Why not do it on Twitter for some publicity? Make sure to study what retweet contests are so you do not look like a fool and break Twitter rules.
When will Tim realize that some of us have been giving him constructive feedback that he should take into consideration and not assume everyone is out to get ya. Most of us want our investment to increase in value.... shocker!! How is this a pump and dump, does he realize how silly he sounds?
