I'm not trying to "one up" Oncojock on his Dr. Brem seminar report, but I just spoke to a buddy of mine that's attending SNO and was present for the Dr. Liau presentation a few hours ago and said that her presentation was even better than her awesome interview with JAMA on Thursday!!!Further, that he listened to the conversations from the attendees, when it was over and the big takeaway was "Finally, we have "PROMISE" in our future for treating GBM !!!" He heard one doctor say that "When patients of mine are diagnosed with GBM, I don't have to give them "Bad News", I can say, "We have a plan that we'll follow that involves the new immunotherapies that offersa real chance to live much longer than before!!" or something like that, but the point my friend was making is everyone is really excited !! He also said that Dr. Liau's delivery was so convincing and reassuring and believable!!
Just before we hung up, he said there is a serious "Buzz" at SNO about DCVax and Dr. Liau. He said among the people he talked to it was like there was a sense of relief that their job as a doctor is now somehow easier as a result of being able to offer patients promise and hope!
So for me as a huge patient advocate and a strong supporter and shareholder of Northwest, every time I hear the name Northwest, "PROMISE AND HOPE" jump into my mind!!
Northwest Biotherapeutics is now the COMPANY of PROMISE and HOPE for treatment of all large tumor cancers and more!!!!!
I probably could have said all that a lot better if I had taken the time to right a rough draft and get rid of some verbiage, but I wanted to share it while it was fresh on my mind !! Hope you enjoyed it!!!:):):)
