Instead though SAVA is affected by very publicised and widely debated accusations of tampering with data and trial results. A securities class action law firm has filed a case against SAVA, the SEC has investigated them, the FDA has been asked to look into stopping their trial and peer reviewed journals have removed and reinstated articles.

Partly because SAVA is more well known and partly because SAVA hasn't attracted the ire of pseudo-journalists like Adam Feuerstein

So yes the market weirdly does seem to have confidence in SAVA, more so than $AVXL.

I may be too critical of $AVXL for some, but I am so critical of $SAVA that I have held no shares in the company or intend to do so. Had I been a trader on the other hand...
