By 2015 everybody knew psPD could be an issue. AVII77 even asserted that if PFS trended the wrong way and caused a futility halt it could be a suggestion the drug works.

The message board knew this, yet NWBO allowed the IA for PFS to proceed.

There are also many things that would have been different had the trial been designed for comps to ECAs,

NWBO could have formally changed the endpoints way back in 2015 before the data had fully matured. They would have had a good read on the crossover numbers by then, Changing the endpoints back then would have been a lot better for waiting for another 5 years of data.
