Bullet Points

• Jeff Sedacca is helping TAA achieve an ambitious goal to become the most productive land-based white Pacific shrimp farmer in the United States

• Grew 150,000 pounds (68 metric tons) in 2021, with a present capacity of 2 million pounds of shrimp per year, TAA hopes to produce 10 million pounds annually by 2027 on its farm in Rio Hondo, TX

• Farm covers 1,880 contiguous acres of dry land and ponds. In terms of physical size, this makes it the largest land-based aquaculture tech company in the United States

• Sedacca, a 50 year veteran of the seafood sector has been involved since its inception in 2017

• Most of the shrimp will be sold frozen head-on, frozen headless and probably a small amount sold fresh, growing as large as 28 grams

• They expect that their white pacific shrimp will be high enough quality to effectively be a niche product and not be affected by the stresses of inflation

• The expansion of its facilities within the 1,880 acres and the ability to add solar power and other tools and sell shrimp to offset production and expansion costs is key to TAA’s future

• Currently about 500 acres are farmable, with an expansion plan of shrimp ponds on another 650 acres. With eventually new shrimp processing areas.

• Drawing the attention of companies in South and North America, Europe and North Africa who seek broodstook & post larvae shrimp.

• Partnered with the Algerian government on that country's first shrimp farm. The new facility, which the Algerian government has committed $30 million to will get TAA post-larvae and broodstock with a goal of producing up to 1,000 tons annually

• A lot of TAA's ambitions are fueled by aid from a Colorado investment corporation, Gold River Production, which obtained TTA through a reverse merger that effectively made the shrimp farmer a public company.

• Site of farm is formerly known as King’s Aqua Farm and produced approximately 1 million pounds of shrimp since 2017.
