Most Poet investors are aware of the famous slide from the August 2020 AGM that showed a slide of a chip that had an ADVA logo on it.

Then a few weeks later Poet got a press release stating a European tier 1 network provider gave Poet a contract to design a chip for a 400g application. That was two years ago.

In any event I never knew ADVA built a lab in Ottawa Canada in 2019. Poets corporate offices are in Toronto. 4 hour drive away.

Also I never knew that ADVA has an optical engine division.

400g is a couple of years away.

Probably explains why Poet was in no hurry to get the 400g product done. They also state that DML’s and EML’s are more expensive than VCSEL’s .

Makes me wonder if there is still a relationship?
