Mr.Lopehandia you may have some knowledge on the matter of Barrick and CMN as it relates to all or any incentives Barrick would have received from the politicos in Chile over the years to develop their Pascua Lama project straddling the border with Argentina.

Thus far we know that Barrick was fined about $13,000,000 for their nonchalance on the environmental issues as they contravened the permitting regulations.

SEEMS TO ME THAT THIS IS LIGHT AS FAR AS OVERALL PENALTIES TO BARRICK FOR A PROJECT THAT HAS COST CHILE A FAR SIGHT HIGHER THAN THIS PENALTY.
