As you know, I've been very fair regarding everyone of my posts. However the tank at the Asian market is a joke. That just doesn't justify $100 million plus valuation. Let's just say for example, the cost to buy 2 pounds of 21 to 25 pound shrimp heads on is $24 plus $13 in shipping which means it is costing me $37 to buy what most would be considered to be large shrimp at best not extra-large, not jumbo shrimp. How much do you think they'll sell at $37 for 2 pounds of shrimp. By the way, that price would be significantly higher than shrimp that I bought at Whole Foods. By the way, the price to buy those same size shrimp in the state of Texas completely fresh shrimp that are coming off boats at the coast is less than $10 a pound. Do you see why people are sceptical about the e-commerce angle? By the way, I would respectfully suggest that you re-search how much of the weight of the shrimp is lost when you remove the head. Therefore, if they are selling shrimp with heads on and calling it a pound it is actually about 11 ounces of shrimp when you remove the head. And I don't know anyone that eats the heads of shrimp. I know some very exotic food eaters that are very large guys and they don't eat the head of the shrimp.
