Hark all "Ye Olde`s":Olddog 2000, Retired 98, George SLC etc. How about a few laughs. Seeing our stock is still in the doldrums, having made the round trip from 61 to 86 and return trip back to 61. This is a true story. As a kid I was always fascinated by trains! I had a model railroad in the basement and was surrounded by all the Lionel equipment, my favorite being the silver and grey Yankee Flyer. Laying in bed last night thinking about the Orient Express, brought to mind another train of my youth. In 1945 while in the Air Corp., I was stationed in Boca Raton, Fla. and had a girlfriend who lived in North Miami. So just about every weekend I would take off for Miami, pick up my girlfriend cross the cause-way and head for Miaim beach to a perfect little spot on the sands among the palms(no highrises there in 45} and a small refreshment stand with a juke box you could hear all over the beach. The favorite hit at the time was a Hoagy Carmichael railroad tune: The Atchison Topeka and the Santa Fe. It went something like this: Sing along you "olde`s". Do you hear that whistle down the line>>> I reckon its the Hrct addition right on time>>> Its the only one that sounds that way>>>>>The HRCT addition to the China Play...All aboard and buy our stock>>>> In our time, let`s hope it rocks>>>> and if you really want to increase your pay>>>>Buy the Hrct addition to the China Play........WOOOOOO a WOOOOOO a WOOOO were on our way the Hrct addition to the China Play. Lyric` by Hoagy Walsh..
