It may just be me but if IBM likes polymer wave guides that are probably made by DuPont or Corning Dow, why not incorporate a polymer modulator on the same chip?

My simple mind working overtime.

If a lwlg polymer modulator gets adopted by industry perhaps there will be a deal with poet technologies. We shall see.
