You are 100% correct; it should! Sometimes they combine in synchronicity, other times the contradict.

Fundamentally, I have hope/expectation that the science will prevail and we will see an amplified result in these trials goosed by the vaccine inflammatory effect that I have laid out.

Does that mean I throw caution to the wind, ignore the conflicting TA message? Nope. If TA does not release me to trade a fundy hope... there is not trade.
Right now, TA is conducive to a short term trade (which I am in). I "expect" amazing results, sufficient to launch price up to the 200MA. My trade is low risk/high reward because my basis is so low. So yes, TA always spills into fundy views... because it absolutely should!!
