In this blog from Poet the question is asked why they can’t name the supplier of the DML . They say some of the suppliers don’t want their names used to maintain a competitive edge.

In the CEOs presentation he name drops they have received the first lasers from Broadcom.

It tells me that Broadcoms CW lasers are going into the remote laser product being supplied by Poet. To be incorporated into Celestials ML server designs. We know Celestial is using Broadcom to design the 5nm fabric that will use TSMC’s process node.

Celestial supplies the easy to use software to make it all work.

Having said that, both the CEO and the blog state Poet will use multiple laser suppliers in their products that are pre qualified.

I guess if Broadcom makes a DML the name drop may have been a slip??
