Just to clarify....Gromwell Root extract can be purchased online in an extract format so whoever was joking about folks chewing the leaves and buying it on Amazon well , have at it.

Also it could be mentioned that Lithospermum erythrorhizon, the active ingredient of Gromwell Root utilizes geranyl diphosphate in the construction of the side chain of the naphthoquinone pigment shikonin and so was considered a potential source of geranyl diphosphate synthase and has been around for over 2000 years.
