But that is exactly how law within a society works in this country. Don't let emotions enter this.

Let's take emotions out with an example. The legal age of drinking in this country is 21, yet many counties/townships are dry and will not sell alcohol. That is because local law makers have disallowed such because the majority of their constitutes don't want it available. The result is that there is no establishment able to sell alcohol in said jurisdiction.

The same goes for any business wanting to enter a certain jurisdiction and operate. If that jurisdiction does not want them in..then they are not coming in.

So if abortion is legal on the state, commonwealth, federal level..."local politicians/lawmakers" may still not approve an abortion clinic in their jurisdiction because their constituents don't approve of such.

So yes..it is up to the medical doctor and patient in said jurisdiction. Said jurisdiction has laws established by their lawmakers(politicians) on behalf of their constituents.

So there is absolutely nothing "bullshit" about it...and I am quite "serious".

I think that I have made it very clear about my feelings towards lawmakers...lol. But truth and logic is the most important thing here....and so it goes.
