Thanks PW. As far as I can tell it looks the SP started up approximately 7/26 2021 and started down on 9/27 2021. The Cortexzyme PRs for those dates are:
PR of 7/267 shows

7/26 Cortexyme Presents Data Linking P. Gingivalis to Elevated Levels of Phospho-tau217 Reinforcing Evidence of Pathogen as Causative Agent of Alzheimer’s Disease at AAIC 2021

So the SP started up with the announcement that they had PRE-clinical data for their suspected MOA. Not announcement of TLD.

And the PR of 9/27 shows

Cortexyme to Present Results from the GAIN Trial: A Phase 2/3 Study of Atuzaginstat in Mild to Moderate Alzheimer’s Disease at CTAD 2021

Curiously, this is seems to be when the SP started to crash. Strange it would crash on this announcement. Did bad news leak? Do I have the date correct for SP crash?

So it looks like the SP still ran up to a MC of $3B. But the runup appears to have been because of preclinical supportive data. And not sure if the SP crash is related to the 9/27 PR.

This was just for fun. I think this is less applicable to AVXL, contrary to the original poster. But still might be relevant in terms of possible SP run up.
