As you may know by now I set up a special Happy Hour on the TOMDF board on Friday.

I have a free membership so I only get 15 free posts a day, so I had used 8 posts up til 4PM and saved 7 posts for later that day after 5PM. Or so I thought.

That was the plan...unlimited posts, get some lurkers posting and have a party chatting stocks.

I made 14 posts during that hour and 7 were deleted because I broke TOU....this message has nothing to do with these deleted posts.

So the other 7 posts I made during Happy Hour and/or the deleted posts caused , what I thought I had saved in my pocket the be counted and after Happy Hour I went to post from my 7 of my daily allotment only to find that they weren't there and that they had been counted during happy Hour and put me down to minus 7

So my point is why are my 15 daily free posts taken away during Happy Hour if the deal is you get unlimited posts. I can see why from your end, perhaps you can't pause the counter during Happy Hour....but doesn't that kind of defeat the joy of the Happy Hour when you know you won't be able to post afterwards.

I explained afterwards to iHub admin that I was not aware that I would end up with no posts at 5PM but they said too bad can't help, seeya tomorrow.

Do you see how this could be corrected?

Secondly when I go on the Q&A Board to get this fixed or at least ask a question....again my posts are counted...shouldn't that be a freebie?

Is there anyone in marketing that might take an interest in making the site better or even making changes to Happy Hour to make it so people would use it? It could be fun.

Is there a particular individual at iHub that might care about Happy Hour....making it better or more used ?

I understand if perhaps the Boards are a liability, a necessary evil so to speak. maybe iHub don't like having the Boards....not sure.
