We don't know whether Anavex is going to report data or not at CTAD. TLD is material but presenting at a conference, even one of the two biggest AD conferences of the year, is not material. Therefore, there is no requirement to release a PR just to report, for example, a placeholder abstract has been accepted for presentation. I think it would be awkward to comment on a placeholder acceptance if the TLD PR is not ready (either no data yet or a miss and company wants to do a deeper dive before public release). Many companies, upon releasing TLD, will have a statement like "Additional analysis will be presented at CTAD (or stick in other conference or just say a future conference)". Abstracts can take a few weeks to be accepted.

If Anavex had positive top line data at the time of abstract submission (deadline Sept 30) then CTAD would definitely accept the abstract and Anavex would want to get teh word out. If they submit a placeholder abstract, I think CTADwould also accept as Phase 2's and 3 data [presentations are always heavily attended, even for mixed data.
