According to this article, the administration plans to start with recommending three or four cybersecurity standards that manufacturers can use as the basis for labels that communicate the risks associated with using so-called internet of things devices.

It's really quite simple. TPMs and SEDs (hardware security) could help protect data, devices, and networks, and this security are international standards that just need to be activated. If recommending the standards in the section above can be done, then certainly TPMs and SEDs being activated and recommended can be done by the administration as well!! TPMs and SEDs with IoT will take too long, TPMs and SEDs activated now is what is needed!!

Having the administration recommend the activation could set the stage for cyber protected organizations that don't get hacked. Hackers will go elsewhere to those organizations who are unprotected. This will get organizations along with the administration's recommendation to activate their hardware security rapidly with a company like Wave and rightly protect these organizations!! Putting this technology on the back burner has not been good for cybersecurity!! The cyber incidents that have been happening constantly should not be happening!!! Time for a smart change!!!
