I think most people would "intensely dislike" the kimchee-pickled herring combo. I mean that in the nicest possible way, of course.

But many people enjoy grilled cheese sandwiches with kimchee.

Be sure to read the comments. Some people recommend frying the kimchee a bit before you assemble the sandwich.

I'll definitely try some nuoc mam; I know some people put it in everything. But I DO have my gallon of Worcestershire sauce to get through. Whadda deal it was!!
