I found a January 2018 abstract of a study that surveyed 14 AD trials using both ADAS-Cog and CDR-SB to compare the scales. It found that ADAS-Cog "detected treatment differences more frequently than the CDR-SB."

The full text is behind a paywall. I assume that this difference will not be meaningful if the ADAS-Cog results are strong, but the abstract was not more specific.
