I don't always (often) agree with DMRX's posts, but I think he hit the nail on the head here:

It is not a matter of updates, it a matter whether one believes what is written in those updates.

Supporters gonna support, haters gonna hate, but there are two facts that are indisputable:

1) The Company has been reporting steady revenue growth and profits(!) in its financial statements for several quarters (acknowledging that both have been infinitesimal on a per share basis) ; and

2) The Company has made several grandiose, yet extremely vague announcements which should have major implications to the balance sheets, but which have not been reflected in its financial statements over the last several quarters.

The former differentiates SHMN from many other pinks, but six figure revenues and five figure profits with no real hope of a breakthrough are not enough to drive PPS in a meaningful way with 1.5BB shares outstanding. Until the issue of trustworthiness and breakthrough potential is addressed, the relevance of the revs and minor profits will continue to wane.

I don't think there is any doubt here that yet another PR announcing the next "BIG THING" or the next advisory board member will fail to move the needle in a meaningful way - we saw that with the last update. The Company needs to provide a concrete status update about some portion (preferably all, but I'll take what I can get) of their previously announced endeavors - including specifically the actual realized financial impact as reflected in either an interim balance sheet or the imminent or contemporaneous release of their quarterly report, or they risk further undermining their credibility, and reduce any further announcements to little more than screaming into the void.
