That is true about Einstein and scientists in general that they often do their most innovative work at very early ages.

However, lawyering is about training and experience, in addition to being very bright, so it just doesn’t make sense that a lawyer that didn’t specialize in US patent law, let alone EU patent law, would have much to offer. In fact, most if not all patent lawyers have STEM backgrounds, even at the PhD level, something she doesn’t have…that I’m aware?

Having said that, it is possible that LP worked for a partner(s) that were experts in EU patent law, whereby she in turn worked in the capacity of an associate.

But having said all of that, the way the story is presented seems highly improbable.
