You are 'elegantly' ignoring all the lab/pre-clinical and clinical development time and effort that went into the mRNA technology that ultimately became the basis for the vaccines (notice not in quotes).


Thank you for posting the lengthy history of mRNA vaccine development.

Will it take that long for Anavex to demonstrate that Anavex-1066 treats or prevents COVID-19 infections in humans? It would seem three or four years would suffice. Good, then, to have a patent in hand when the drug gets approval for new and continuing strains of COVID-19.

If they have new, untested molecules that appear to work, might one suppose that Pfizer, too, is working on new COVID therapies that will take a few years? Why shouldn't Anavex?
