If IFUS owned the property, the Assumption Parish public records would reflect that ... just the same as they do in every other Parish/County/etc in the U.S. The records are public ... and they are public so that that no one can deceive others by claiming to own something they do not own.

If IFUS wants to claim ownership, let them prove it. Are they claiming to own by adverse ownership? Are they claiming a "Wild deed," unrecorded and uninsurable? Louisiana is the toughest state in the U.S. when it comes to acquiring adverse ownership and make it all but impossible.

Why, if IFUS indeed does own the property, are they unwilling/unable to prove it? It is easy to do and costs nothong
