I believe BIEL had more leverage in negotiations after KT with other OEM partners given use of our product as an “add-on”. Why? I’m sure the antennas went up when these other OEM partners took note of KT and didn’t want to miss out.
That said, these OEM’s have been around long enough, very profitable, with or without us. That they are worth billions and having money doesn’t mean they open up the checkbook freely for advertising “our” product, as some may have thought would happen. Not that simple.
Let’s see if the 975,000 gives us more leverage at future negotiations with new OEM partners, or renegotiating with current ones.
I’ll refrain from the in-house and external things that need fixing as it’s been beaten to no end, yet it all factors into how you look at that negotiation table.
Who needs who more doesn’t get to call the shots.
