Her macaroni and cheese recipe, actually I don't have a recipe, I've been doing it off the cuff for 40 years. I know the ingredients.
So Grandma Rumball's mac and cheese
This will sound disgusting until you try it
Ingredients
Ketchup
Condensed tomato soup
Macaroni
Grated cheddar (preferably aged)
1/2 cook the noodles on the stove (they'll cook eventually in the oven)
In an oven suitable recipient start by a layer of grated cheese, toss in some soup, toss in the noodles, toss in more soup, toss in more cheese then add more ketchup than you think you need. Mix it all up and put it in the oven at 180c (350f)
Cooking time, well, I use I transparent Pyrex dish, when I see the sides of the noodles turning black, it's done.
Never met anyone hat didn't like this.
