Does anyone think it's possible that Sarissa is going to try to acquire AMRN through it's SPAC?

I'm not super-familiar with the SPAC rules and procedures, but it seems that it would be beneficial to allow AMRN to sink as far as possible, and then "save" them.

Does a SPAC target have to be private, or could it already be public, but get acquired by the SPAC? Everything I read talks about acquiring private companies, but I have not seen an explicit prohibition on acquiring already-public companies.

Maybe Sarissa Capital could take AMRN private, and then have the SPAC take them public again?

I know this is reaching, but...
