Although each of those three things are true, I also bleeve that game-cafes are a poor business, on average worse than restaurants. The costs are higher than restaurants due in part to paying for game gurus, game cleaning, game piece damage/wear/piece losses, and paying all staff for longer/late open hours. Further revenue per seat is lower even when adding the gaming fee as table turnover/occupancy times are much slower than restaurants, and food buy per seat is much lower than restaurants.

IMO, game-cafes are a shitty business on average, even if well-located and well-run, as compared to an average restaurant and way, way worse than an average bar, fast food restaurant, or Starbucks/Dutch Brothers.

So there are prolly a large percentage of game-cafes that are failing and would be willing to be taken over by, for example, SnL. Butt is also means that, like Guelph has proven (and Chicago and Provo also, just nott closed yett butt unprofitable loss leaders), most or all of these are nott worth being acquired because they will remain failed game-cafes even if run by The Clownshow.
