"Why would anybody invest in a stock that was killed? If I felt that way, I would look to other stocks to invest in!"

Exactly what is happening now to TOMDF because of the upcoming split. Why is it so important to get uplisted to the NasDaq when we are still only a 2 cent stock....shouldn't we, couldn't we get there on merit?
What's the big attraction?
