Well, I didn't have Guelph as first to close. Thought that it was a small drip in the mountain of debt that wouldn't be worth drawing attention to the fragile state of the company. That's certainly only the first shoe to drop... the lease on mid-town must just about be up... unless they are waiting for the construction to pass before kicking snakes to the curb.

FUNN management have been completely non-responsive.

Let's give a little bit of kudos to the former Guelph manager Bradley Sivyer. When the ship went down, he gave it a proper send off to former guests and presumably staff.

That's more than can be said about (favour for favours get me a Visa) PR person or indeed ANY management.

RIP

Snakes & Lattes Guelph
To our valued guests and community members,
It is with a heavy heart that I am writing this
message today to inform you that Sunday,
September 11th will be our last day of business
at Snakes & Lattes Guelph.
The decision to close our Guelph location was
not an easy one, but the difficulties and
setbacks brought on by the COVID-19
pandemic have made it too difficult for us to
continue this business operation.
I would like to personally thank each and every
guest that walked through our doors over the
last year. We learned and played a lot of games
together, shared some fantastic food and drink,
and had a number of laughs during our monthly
comedy shows. In regards to our comedy
shows, I want to give a big thank you to Jason
Dalgleish for all the hard work that he put in
organizing our comedy shows and bringing a
variety of great talent through our doors. While I
wish that we could have continued to grow and
be a part of the downtown Guelph community
we are thankful for the support which has been
shown to us by the Downtown Guelph Business
Improvement Association.
I hope to see some familiar faces over the next
week in our Guelph location before we close our
doors for one last round of your favourite
games.
Thank you,
Bradley Sivyer, General Manager of Snakes &
Lattes Guelph
