Well said Meirluc. In fact, we have had a full job recovery, and many people have done very well to the point of the great resignation being a major thing. That does not happen typically.

There are lots of worries and storm clouds on the global economy’s horizon and it would be naive to think these major events will not affect us. China and Europe are both really hurting, COVID, energy shocks, war and droughts. It’s insane the things that are happening worldwide, even great floods in some places. Ecological disasters are happening everywhere with war, climate, energy costs and disease being major factors. But despite it all, our country is relatively blessed and doing quite well, relatively. Some difficulties are being caused by necessary medicine to avoid worse problems later, i.e. interest rate rises.
