I also again got requests for all Schwab accounts. I clicked on learn more and noticed the interest rate they are paying has come down significantly from the first time Schwab asked me to loan Lightwave shares to shorts. I don’t know much about how it works, but the lower rate indicates to me their supply of shares to loan to shorts has gone up relative to the demand for shares shorts want to borrow. Is this a correct supposition?
