Until recently, my wife and I have been exclusively invested in real estate since 2012. We began spinning these investments off last year when the market spiked and have been moving into stocks, mostly dividend producing to off-set the loss of rental income. Dividends are definitely easier to manage than tenants, leaky roofs and plumbing issues..:).
