Aside from the chs component, Coretec's battery has to incorporate the latest in battery technologies to be competitive or even better?

It could be time to consider that CHS is not a critical component of the battery design. From the Coretec website – “Endurion is using the unique characteristics of Cyclohexasilane (CHS) and similar molecules to develop batteries that last longer, charge faster, and require less rare-earth material to do it”. Note that “similar” molecules are in the game. There is a LOT we don’t know as shareholders, and we’re putting together a puzzle with lots of missing pieces, but it is clear Evonik has exited the picture. Further evidence of this is the “Corporate Overlook” language on the website which has been edited to remove mention of Evonik.

So, similar molecules? If you’re like me you start asking questions – essentially what might the issues with CHS be? Today Richman Chemical posted an good read on Linkedin - https://lnkd.in/eYHr-es - This contains a lot of clues about potential commercialization issues, and probably illustrates why Evonik is gone. Evonik is not set up to optimize and tune a process like Richman Chemical is, that is their specialty and if I’m even close to correct on any of this Richman is likely now key to any future success the company has with the material.
