As for the expectations for DCVax being 20%, let’s wait for the full data. I am curious. I do think the addition of poly-ICLC as an adjuvant and combination therapies will substantially increase results. I think approval of DCVax-L will accelerate combination therapies and bring about real progress on that front and in improving survival numbers for cancers of many types ultimately.

I would not be surprised if the pandemic did not harm results, in ways we likely will never know and across the board in all of oncology.

But on the 20%, that was a hope, and people always need to realize that it’s not easy predicting the outcome before you have the final data. 13% was a huge increase and I think with combinations and better understanding of the progression of GBM, and solid tumors in various places on the body, it should be become possible to ultimately really advance this kind of treatment. I hope that whoever advances the DCVax technologies will invest in new modalities and research to crack the nut and make this breakthrough the equivalent of an advancement like antibiotics, as some have said in the past.
