Actually it was a very different ‘thing’. These were labs .. not just tents. Processing could be done on site rather than sending out and waiting 48 hours. That’s big especially since this cr’p is so contagious. It’s easy to say this now but at the time it was a huge deal. They just could scale to what was needed and it wasn’t ready in time.

And guess what, they are still labs. And can process many more ailments other than Covid. And still not have to wait hours or days for the results. Wanna bet the large pharmas didn’t have much more money thrown at preventing something like this from happening (disrupting their 48 hour turn around time ). They had deeper pockets and inroads into the system… for a company this size to turn around in the time frame it did and put out a product or application like this was huge. Imo.
