No need for a Tesla phone now that Spacex is teaming up with Tmobile. However if Tesla was to release something like that it would occur 2024 at the earliest since the infrastructure to support cellular will not be in place until late 2023 (just texting) if Spacex can get enough Gen 2 sats launched. Based on recent filing this doesnt look promising as Spacex filed to launch Gen2 sats onboard its Falcon 9 rockets which will not support many Gen 2 sats per launch compared to starship. Also it appears it's alot slower to get the sats operational via Falcon 9 vs starship.

Tesla could release a phone that has sat antenna but that means significant increase EM radiation exposure over current cellular. But this would bring about a major PR/lawsuit issue as people become sick, in addition to its out of control cars. Teslas best sticking to Optimus and staying away from mobile phones.

Planetary electromagnetic pollution: it is time to assess its impact

For example, acute non-thermal exposure has been shown to alter human brain metabolism by NIH scientists,
electrical activity in the brain, and systemic immune responses. Chronic exposure has been associated with increased oxidative stress and DNA damage and cancer risk. Laboratory studies, including large rodent studies by the US National Toxicology Program and Ramazzini Institute of Italy, confirm these biological and health effects in vivo. As we address the threats to human health from the changing environmental conditions due to human activity, the increasing exposure to artificial electromagnetic radiation needs to be included in this discussion.
