OK Hoff let us also look at 5 years as that is how long the poster has had nvcr. Nwbo has done well in 5 years going from around 20 cents to now 70 cents with a peak around $2.50
Nvcr has gone from $20 to now $80 with a peak a bit over $220 so reasonably similar.
Now the 7 and 8 year charts - my time frame in both and the story is vastly different. At the time I greatly enjoyed the nwbo ride to $12.54 and listening to the ceo really thought nwbo was on the way to greatness. Outstanding shares well under 100 million, direct phase 1 looked very promising, dcvax-L results per the ceo to be out in 18 months all imo looked great. I did not really enjoy the ride down to 14 cents though I did buy more.
Nvcr in that time was teens to high single digits, it went on an upward ride to over $220 but (my bad - obviously) I sold nvcr at 20 and $25 to purchase more nwbo and though I made $ I sure missed the big payoff. I really did not like the discomfort for patients wearing the hat.
I really quit following nvcr much but have now done some dd and generally some favorable results
Nwbo from may 10th presentation we know also has favorable results at near 3 months added at the median and 13% five year survival. Imo we also know it is not the miracle cure often talked about here with 30% and up five year survival - one was thinking 50% 'cure' for methylated and one post claimed 80% response rate.
Toms and Ashkan say speak favorably of both so I believe both have merit
