bobjack, A Live CD for supporting a broken system...

...is an excellent tool to have handy.

I am familiar with the Linux Live CD, but I recently found one that may be more appropriate for maintaining a Windows box.

It actually boots up a minicopy of Win-XP and runs completely from the CD, just like the Linux Live CD. The difference is that the many included utilities and diagnostics are actual Windows apps.

I just started working with it so I don't know how to use it fully yet. But it is easy and straight forward to build and it works like a champ. Check it out...
