Horseb4 start with covered calls, very conservative and easy to learn. Most of online brokers have intro to options courses and not hard to pick up. I use the coverd calls and selling puts as well as vertical spreads with either calls or puts - a little more complex to learn but still quite do-able. 10 years ago saw some spread examples on apple and started with them and then went on to many other stocks, with the spreads can often make good %$ with little or even no movement in the stock with a known up front maximum risk
